Peace be with you!
Did you know that Pentecost means the "Fiftieth Day"?
The novena that we'll be praying together next is the Pentecost Novena to the Holy Spirit.
We prayed the Pentecost Novena last year and we're going to do it again this year!
(Keep reading, this is going to be good...)
Pentecost is the end of the Easter Season and the day when Jesus
sent the Holy Spirit to be with His Apostles. A beautiful and important
feast for sure!
The Holy Spirit plays a BIG part in our lives whether we know it or not.
So, we are going to do something very special for the intention of this novena which starts on May 18th.
This intention is going to be very personal for you. I want you to
come up with something in your life, either for yourself or for someone
close to you.
I want you to ask the Holy Spirit for something concrete and measureable.
Think about it for a couple days and I'll remind you about it again.
The reason I'm asking you to do this is because I think it's important that we trust in God and ask for specific graces.
It's not meant to treat God as 'genie in a bottle' or anything like
that. Instead, we should expect that God wants to bless us because we
know that He is good and loving.
So, please think about this intention. If you already know what it is, go ahead and post it here.
There were some answered prayers from this novena from last year that I will share in my next email.
I hope you're looking forward to this novena as much as I am. It's going to be great!
God bless you!
John-Paul
