Di Noia's letter - full text in English:

 

Jean-Marie Guénois, religious correspondent for French daily Le Figaro, made public today the full text of the letter sent by the Vice-President of the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, Abp. Di Noia, to the Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X, Bp. Fellay, and all the priests of the Society. (Our previous post on the letter here.)

We will not provide a translation for two reasons: first, due to pure lack of time; but, most importantly, because we know the letter was originally written in English, and only then translated into French before being sent - therefore, the original English meaning of the letter will undoubtedly be distorted in a translation of a translation and a waste of time. Since the letter is now public, we hope the original English text will be made available...

Finally, there is no sign that there was any intent of confidentiality in the letter, called by Fr. Lombardi (Holy See spokesman) a "personal appeal" by Abp. Di Noia. (Thanks to Rorate Caeli:here)
