Novena For Religious Freedom-Final Prayer

As we finish the Novena for Religious Freedom, I wanted to offer this final prayer:

Dear Lord,

We know from Your words that we must take up our cross and follow You. We know that we must pray for those who persecute us. We know that You are everything to us!

Give us strength to endure persecution. Give us the love required to pray for those who persecute us and to love those who hate us. Give us the faith in You to endure all hardships until the end.

Have mercy, Lord, on those who are falsely imprisoned, falsely accused or persecuted for You in any way!

Amen.
