Dear Friends
As you are no
doubt aware, the World Congress of Families, led by
Andrea Minichiello Williams, is hosting the
conference, ‘One Man. One Woman. Making the case for
marriage, for the good of society’ at the Law Society
HQ, London, UK, next week on May 23rd, with
contributions by senior High Court Judge Sir Paul Coleridge
and others.
However, the Law
Society cancelled the booking, last Saturday, 12th May,
claiming it was ‘contrary to diversity policy,
espousing as it does (the conference) an ethos which is
opposed to same-sex marriage.’ This is an
extraordinary statement coming from the law society who
have the power to give or take away the licence for a
lawyer to practise and therefore defend Christians in court.
Court cases in future will not be debated with reference to
reason, truth or even justice but to political correctness
or fascists Marxist ideology [1,2&3]
However, I have had an
email from Andrea’s office, saying,
“At present the
venue has not changed and we are committed to this
important conference and determined that it will go ahead.
We will seek an alternative Central London venue if
necessary and will notify all guests of this move as soon as
possible.”
“Given the
current situation, we feel that it is particularly important
that the conference is well attended so please do encourage
your networks to book a place.
Following the day
conference; ‘One Man. One Woman’ at The Law
Society, The Bow Group will be hosting an evening debate,
6:30-8pm in The Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House, at which
various MPs including, David Burrowes MP, Fiona Bruce MP,
Phillip Blond and Andrew Lilico, will speak on the topic of
the Government's consultation, looking at how the
redefinition of marriage will impact society. If you or
anyone from your networks would like to attend this event
please can you let me know.” Contact details: http://www.christianconcern.com/contact-us
I would urge you
to uphold Andrea and her brave team in prayer and back this
with financial support as she and other Christian
lawyers, like the Christian Institute, are all that
separate us from a totalitarian state- the church having
long since retreated behind its stained glass windows and
‘messy church.’ What will happen when they are
no longer there to represent us in court?
Also let us
not forget Mr and Mrs Wilkinson, who like Mr and Mrs
Bull run a Christian B&B and are being persecuted by
homosexuals, even as I write. Please read the
attachment.
Also please write
to Mr Desmond Hudson, Chief Executive of the Law
Society or email him and/ or the Law society, expressing,
respectfully, our objection to this decision. Contact

You might write
something along the lines of this:
Dear Sir,
The World Congress of
Families, led by Andrea Minichiello Williams, was to have
hosted the conference, ‘One Man. One Woman. Making
the case for marriage, for the good of society’ at
the Law Society HQ, London, UK, next week on May 23rd,
with contributions by senior High Court Judge Sir Paul
Coleridge and others.
However, the Law

claiming it was ‘contrary to diversity policy,
espousing as it does (the conference) an ethos which is
opposed to same-sex marriage.’
There is no diversity
of opinion here only discrimination against Christians and a
violation of the Declaration of Human Rights, article
16(3) ) "the
family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society
and is entitled to protection by society and the
state,” also of Article 18. The right to freedom
of religion, Article 19, the right to freedom of
expression, and Article 20, the right to peaceful assembly.
Added to which a right to gay marriage has already been
rejected by the European Court of Human rights.
In the name of justice
and truth we ask you to reconsider your decision and to
honour the agreement that Law Society made with Andrea
Minichiello Williams to hold the conference, ‘One
Man. One Woman. Making the case for marriage, for the good
of society’ at the Law Society HQ, London, UK, next
week on May 23rd.
Your
sincerely
