Government petition to close down Terrance Higgins:

Dear Friends,
Oh no! Not another dreaded petition! But please, take just a few seconds to complete this one.
Monica Shelley has created a petition that says :
“We are calling on the UK Government to withdraw all public funding from THT and rescind its charitable status.
The Terence Higgins Trust gets £10 million per year from the UK government to distribute "health advice". It is encouraged to target this advice at young people in the age group 14-19 but instead of health advice, it offers sickness advice. The sort of material and information it provides webpages such as "The Hard Cell" and "The Bottom Line" are more suitable for a hard-core porn site. They are physically and morally harmful.
Their motto "Inspiring 30 years of better sexual health" can only be regarded as a joke. They actively encourage illness by normalizing harmful behaviour.
It is shocking to find that their staff are paid "fat cat" salaries in the region of £60-80,000 per year.
We call on the UK government to stop funding perversion and to withdraw THT's charitable status.”
If you do not understand or have forgotten the context of Monica’s petition, you only have to look at these two articles:
