As we pray on this second day of the Christmas Novena, please pray with me for all expectant mothers.
Let's pray especially for those who feel a pressure to have an abortion. They need so much love and support.
Pray with me that they may receive the love and support that St. Joseph provided Mary despite there being no room at the inn.
In addition, I'd like to pray
for the mothers, fathers and families of all who were harmed by the
school shooting in Connecticut.
Let us pray fervently for them that they will be comforted by God's love and mercy in this time of great suffering.

O most sweet infant Jesus, who by means of your
Virgin Mother, visited St. Elizabeth, and filled your
servant, St. John the Baptist, with the Holy Spirit,
sanctifying him from his mother's womb.
Have mercy on us.
Have mercy on us, O Lord. Have mercy on us.
