Today, let us pray for all
parents and godparents. They have an important role in bringing up a
child who is brought into the world.
Just like the Lord was
presented in the temple, our children are presented in the Church for
Baptism. There, parents and godparents take on the responsibility for
bringing up a child in the faith.
So, today we pray for all
parents and godparents. We pray also for those children who have no one
to present them in the Church for Baptism. We pray that God will
eventually bring them to His family and that they may be welcomed with
open arms!
Let's also continue praying for the victims of the recent shooting in Connecticut.
