- Due to a change of date for the House of Lords vote on the Marriage
(Same Sex Couples) Bill, the times and dates of the prayer gatherings
are now:
Monday 3rd June: 12.00-14.00 (as Peers prepare to debate the Bill)
Tuesday 4th June 17.00 -19.00 (as Peers prepare to vote on the Bill)
The Government has delayed the vote until the next day (Tuesday) because it didn't want a vote on the first day back after recess. The media are saying that it's possible the Bill could be defeated on Tuesday.
So PLEASE NOTE that the gathering on Monday 3rd June from 17.00-19.00 has been CANCELLED.

Buckingham Palace - Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali to speak
The gathering outside Buckingham Palace on Sunday 2nd June at 2PM to deliver a letter to Her Majesty the Queen will still take place as planned.
We have just had it confirmed that Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali will address the gathering at the short service of Prayer and Thanksgiving for The Queen after the letter has been delivered.
Members of Youth With A Mission will be there, along with people from many commonwealth nations. This promises to be an enjoyable and memorable occassion on the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty's Coronation.
