Many lawyers and politicians have already spoken about the "chilling effect" on freedom of speech that the same sex 'marriage' Bill will have.

But free speech is already being shut down before any change in the law. The latest instance of this came on Monday (1st July) when street preacher Tony Miano was arrested in London for using "homophobic" language whilst preaching from 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12.

It's vital that MPs are made aware of the extent to which free speech is already being restricted.

So please email your MP with a link to the video of Tony's arrest. Just follow these simple steps:

• Click here to find your MP, then click on the name to find out their email address
• Open a new email, addressed to your MP
• Cut and paste this link into your email (you can say that police arrive at 25mins 37secs into the video and Tony is arrested at 38mins 11secs in): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2vu9CI5Ij4&feature=youtu.be
• Write your email, explaining your concerns and why you're sending them this video
• Send it!

Please also ask your church leader to play this clip in church on Sunday.

This time it's Tony on the street. In time it could be them being arrested for saying similar things in church.
