October 7th is the anniversary of The Battle of Lepanto when the
ravaging Muslim hordes were defeated by a Catholic Alliance that changed
the face of European history. Victory was through the intercession of
Our Lady of Victory (Our Lady of the Rosary) as Pope St Pius V offered
up his Rosary to the desperate and seemingly impossible task of beating
back the Moors.
