How Un-forgiveness Blocks our Progress
“How can anybody say he loves God whom he does not see, if he hates his brother whom he does see?” Hatred comes in various forms and the fact we are unwilling to completely forgive anyone for how they have hurt us, is the major reason why God’s Grace is blocked and further progress to love as God does is stifled. Our pride and the resulting blindness to our sins, especially this un-forgiveness, is the major reason why so few of us progress in holiness to knowing and loving God with all our heart, mind and soul. How many times have we unfaithfully said the Our Father prayer, asking God to forgive our sins, while being unwilling to forgive all who have hurt us in any way? Note God did not put any conditions on forgiving others…so no matter what they did to hurt us, we must forgive them. By begging for His grace….He will allow you to forgive, even if it now seems impossible to you. For nothing is impossible for God. Do you not trust him who created the heavens and the earth?
